    300 Winchester Magnum

I am fixing to start loading the 200gr Hornady ELD-X and am looking hard at H-4831. Any real world experience hunting/reloading this combo or suggestions on a different powder? Will be loading for a Remington 700 Long Range and using it on whitetails out to 500 yards or so, right now I have a personal limit of nothing past 300 yards and will have to build my confidence to go further out.

My son used a 200gr eldx with H1000 and completely blew the one shoulder off his shot was 416 yards don’t know about 4831 but I know H1000 works really well

I use IMR4831 and love it behind 190 and 200 gr bullets.
208gr I've had mixed results but not enough trigger time on that group to really build up a load and see what powder or depth is better.
Had been using 7828 and H1000 on my bolt gun, but when I was having great success with IMR4831 in my 300 BAR and 300 Nemo Omen I switched the bolt gun to that and got better accuracy then the 7828 and 1000.
Recoil is a bit sharper than the slower powders and I'm not loading max.
220+ gr, I definitely use the slow powder.
